This project was difficult, but very rewarding. During demo, we discovered an old tin ceiling that was covered up by acoustical tile. In order to salvage it, we employed a special fire rated paint. Then we painted it gold, as a nod to the Somalian gold industry. The entry sequence has woven wood walls, as weaving is a big part of the culture.
